Orthodontics for Adults
While orthodontic treatment is most often associated with teenagers, the number of adults electing orthodontic treatment for themselves continues to increase each year. Many adults choose to have just upper or lower teeth straightened, and options are available to our older patients to minimize the appearance of appliances during treatment.
Master Diagnosis and Treatment Plans
Dr. Haught develops highly individualized treatment plans. Our standard “new patient protocol” includes a consultation with the doctor, facial and intraoral photographs with diagnostic models, conventional Cephlametric and Panelipse X-rays to ensure the most accurate diagnosis. After carefully considering all of these factors Dr. Haught recommends only the orthodontic treatment which is necessary for each individual patient. Emporia Orthodontics provides toothbrush and floss instructions for good oral hygiene, plaque removal and healthy gums during active orthodontic treatment which will stay with the patient throughout their life.
