Types of Treatment

Growth Guidance

Growth guidance provides arch development in the child that is actively growing and losing baby teeth. It is an interceptive treatment that can correct such problems as front tooth cross bite, narrow dental arch, and dental crowding. There are several effective techniques. If one approach doesn’t work, our doctors will find another that will.

Some of the benefits of early treatment are:

  • Creating room for crowded or erupting teeth
  • Reducing the risk of trauma to protruding front teeth
  • Correcting front tooth cross bite
  • Reducing the need for permanent tooth removal

Low Profile, stainless and clear brackets

These braces combined with thermo dynamic arch wires are designed to more efficiently move the teeth while minimizing patient discomfort. Each bracket has a built in sliding mechanism that reduces the pressure exerted on the teeth yet providing effective movement.
